Finally here! AI Decision Maker, Smart Delay & Smart Limits

Kyrylo avatar
Shared by Kyrylo • July 17, 2025

We’ve just rolled out three powerful tools in Getmany to give your agency even more control and precision on Upwork.

Let’s dive in!

1. AI Decision Maker – Smarter Job Filtering

(Available on Light Plan and above)

Tired of manual keyword exclusion that misses context? Our new AI Decision Maker lets you list reasons why you don’t want to bid on certain jobs, whether it’s “no long-term potential” or “trial period required.” Unlike simple keyword filters, it reads the job title and description to understand nuances.

  • How it works: Add exclusion reasons in the AI Settings (Step 3 of Bidding).
  • Benefit: Get fewer irrelevant bids and see why each job was skipped right in your Skipped Jobs list.

2. Smart Delay – Organic Timing, Now at Account Level

We moved Smart Delay out of individual job searches and into your global Business Manager settings. Now you can craft natural-looking application patterns:

  • Additional Time Delay: Add 5–60 minutes on top of our 15-minute base delay.
  • Nighttime Extra Delay: Pause applications during off-hours to avoid suspicious behavior.
  • Weekend Slowdown: Reduce proposal volume on weekends.
  • Natural Break Patterns: Simulate lunch and coffee breaks with daily pauses.

Why it matters: Thoughtful timing boosts visibility and win rates, our data shows a 3.2× higher success rate when you avoid instant, robotic bids.

Where to Set It Up:

Go to Settings → Business Manager Settings, and click the Smart Delay tab:

3. Smart Limits – Stay Within Safe Thresholds

Control your proposal volume to maintain quality and avoid Upwork’s detection systems. In Settings → Business Manager Settings → Smart Limits, you can:

  • Daily Proposal Limit: Restrict how many proposals you send each day.
  • Gradual Warm-Up (with Burst Protection): New accounts ramp up safely (+5 proposals/week) while preventing rapid-fire bursts.
  • Connect Conservation (with Platform Cap): Automatically skip scammy, high-connect jobs and stay within your safe monthly limit.

Why it matters: These controls let you grow your volume smartly, protecting your account while maximizing wins.

Just Launched: Smart Terms & Auto Reply for Upwork Bidding

Shared by Support • May 26, 2025

Two new tools are here to help your agency bid smarter and stay responsive — all while saving time.

1. Smart Terms – Flexible Pricing That Adapts to Each Job

Tired of manually calculating bid amounts? With Smart Terms, you set a % once — and we auto-adjust your bid based on the job’s budget or hourly range.

How it works:

Fixed Price Jobs:

If a project budget is $1000:

  • 0% → You bid $1000
  • 70% → You bid $1700
  • 10% → You bid $1100

Hourly Jobs:

If the Client’s range is $15–35 and your Freelancer’s Rate is $25–40:

  • 0% → Bid is $25
  • 70% → Bid is $29
  • 100% → Bid is $35

Your bids always stay within job + freelancer limits — no over- or underbidding.

Enable in: Step 2 of Bidding → Terms & Boosting

2. Auto Reply – Stay Responsive, Even When You’re Away

When a client replies, Getmany can now send an automatic first message — so you don’t lose momentum while offline.

Customize it to:

  • Acknowledge their reply.
  • Ask a qualifying question.
  • Share a quick intro or next step.

Why it matters:

  • You stay responsive, even offline.
  • You keep the lead warm.
  • You boost reply-to-contract rates by showing up fast.

Enable in: Step 1 of Bidding → Bidding Settings → Auto Reply

These are just the first steps toward smarter client engagement and automated bidding!

Shared by Support • May 26, 2025

We’ve added new features to give you better control over your Upwork bidding strategy and Search. Now, you can filter jobs more precisely, customize proposal boosting, and manage notifications more efficiently.

What’s new:

1. Getmany Score – Now in Job Search

Previously available only for Proposal Boosting, Getmany Score now helps you filter jobs in Job Search as well!

What is Getmany Score? It’s our unique algorithm that ranks jobs based on budget, client credibility, and job details.

Why it matters? Quickly identify the most valuable jobs and focus your efforts where they count.

2. More Control Over Proposal Boosting

Before, proposals could only be boosted for jobs with a Getmany Score of 4.5+. Now, you decide the threshold!

Choose your own score — Boost proposals starting from 4.0+.

More flexibility — Target the right opportunities based on your agency’s strategy.

3. Expanded Budget Preferences

Now you can broaden your job search with two new options:

  • Include Jobs without Hire Rate History
  • Include Clients without Hourly Rate History

Why it matters? Get access to more job opportunities and find hidden gems.

4. Filter Jobs by Language

By popular demand, you can now filter jobs by language in Client Preferences!

  • Keep only English job descriptions.
  • Exclude languages that aren’t relevant to your agency.

5. Smarter Notifications

We’ve made it easier to stay updated:

Lead Replies in One Place – Now, you can receive alerts for all client replies in one place. Just go to:

Settings → Notifications → Upwork Client Alerts.

More Flexibility with Notification Channels

Before, all notifications were sent to a single channel, making it harder to manage. Now, you can:

  • Set New Jobs Notifications per Job Search in a specific channel.
  • Assign notifications for specific Job Searches to different channels.

This makes it easier to organize your workflow and distribute responsibilities within your team.

6. 🔍 See Why a Job Was Skipped – And Take Action

We’ve updated the Skipped Jobs feature!

Now you can view all jobs your agency couldn’t apply to automatically – and manually submit if needed.

Plus, we’ve added a new label: Skipped by User.

If someone on your team cancels an application, that job will now appear in the list too.

No missed opportunities. Full transparency.

Start using these updates today and take full control of your Upwork bidding strategy!

Win More Jobs with Smart Insights & Boosting

Support avatar
Shared by Support • May 26, 2025

Are you ready for the latest Getmany upgrades? 🚀

We’ve added powerful tools to track job trends, boost proposals, and filter job statuses — all to help you apply smarter and win more projects.

Here’s what’s new:

1. Get More Insights for Smarter Bidding

Want to know which jobs are worth your time? Our new Insights feature provides detailed analytics on job trends, so you can make data-driven decisions when bidding:

  • Job Trends: See the average number of similar jobs in your search each month over the past year.
  • Pricing Data: Get insights on average job pricing and the number of connects used per job.
  • Top Keywords: We analyze job listings in real time and highlight the most common skills.

2. Beta Proposal Boosting – Get Seen First!

You asked, we delivered! Our new Proposal Boosting feature ensures your best proposals get priority placement — without overspending.

You'll continue bidding on jobs as usual, and if you choose to enable boosting, it will only apply to those with a Getmany Score above 4.5. This score is our internal rating of job quality. If the job is a strong opportunity, we’ll push your proposal to the top.

Boosting gives you two controls:

  • Fixed Bid: Set the number of connects you're willing to spend per boosted proposal.
  • Maximum Daily Budget: Set a limit on your total daily spend to avoid overspending.

For example, with a Daily Budget of 100 and a Fixed Bid of 10, you’ll boost up to 10 proposals per day before hitting your limit.

Coming soon: Real-time stats on average bids from other freelancers, helping you fine-tune your strategy even further.

3. Smarter Job Filtering by Status

Now, you can easily track your job applications with new status filters:

  • Jobs Found: All the latest jobs from Upwork in the past 15 days that match your filters.
  • Applied: Jobs where we’ve already submitted a proposal.
  • Scheduled: High potential jobs where applications are planned. If something doesn’t look right, you can cancel bidding from Slack, Telegram, or Discord — and soon, directly from this page.
  • Skipped: Jobs that didn’t meet the criteria for applying. Now, you’ll see how many opportunities were skipped and can manually apply if needed.

Even More to Come!

These features are just the start — we’re continuously working on new ways to help you win more jobs with less effort. Stay tuned for more updates, and let us know what you think!

Best,

The Getmany Team 😎
